Bay Area Mold Pros is a locally-owned and operated company that specializes in mold testing and mold inspection for residential and commercial properties.
Owner Rick Bruce is a Certified Mold Inspector (CMI) and licensed general contractor who has been building and remodeling homes in the Bay Area for over 40 years. His construction background provides a unique insight into tracking down sources of water leaks and mold growth. He's committed to personalized service and prompt responses, and in most cases, can be onsite the same day.
OUR MOLD SERVICES INCLUDE
Bay Area Mold Pros offers professional and unbiased mold testing and mold inspection services.
We do not provide mold remediation services as we see that as a conflict of interest
- Investigating water damage and mold contamination issues
- Verifying 3rd-party mold removal with lab testing and reports
- Assessing indoor air quality and generating recommendations
PRICING
We have fixed pricing at Bay Area Mold Pros. The total fee for our standard mold inspection is:
$595
Includes all of the following:
● Physical inspection of your home (up to 5,000 square feet of living space) by one of our Certified Mold Inspectors.
● The collection of 4 total samples by the inspector (air, cavity, swab, slide, or bulk) to be analyzed by a completely independent lab, not affiliated with Bay Area Mold Pros.
● A full analysis of the 4* (or more) samples by highly trained lab techs at the largest independent laboratory in America.
● A written lab report which provides both the types and amounts of mold identified in your home.
● A written report prepared by your certified mold inspector which explains the lab report in terms that homeowners can understand.
● A written inspection report by your certified mold inspector that provides both conclusions and recommendations for dealing with your mold problem.
*Although 4 samples are generally enough to properly analyze the conditions present in a standard home, additional samples are available for $50 each.
